Workboats in Denmark, 2 ways of use:
Supply Vessel:
1 license and 1 extra screen. The main aim of that workboat is to move GAS/OIL cables in a semi-circle. As you can see on screen shots below, it is a precision work. In addition to MaxSea, they own an ECDIS soft but barely use it as MaxSea is easier to use and more accurate, according to them.
Harbour Office:
More standard but as interesting as the previous one, MaxSea is used as a VTS (vessel traffic system)
1 FAR 21/17 radar for ARPA targets plus a Furuno AIS and GPS; everything on 3 flat screens
AIS tracks are automatically recorded. Our user friendly interface is definitely our strength.
