Unlimited Routes and Waypoints

Waypoints and Routes are stored and archived in a database, they are very easy to recall whenever you need them to plan a trip and go sailing.

From the Waypoint database you can sort the waypoints; select some of them to build a route or add to a route leg.  You can also edit them.
If, for example, you need to modify a buoy at a harbour entrance, you can easily recall the corresponding Waypoint, modify it once and all the Routes using this Waypoint will include the modification automatically.

Any Route built from existing Waypoints or plotted on the chart is also automatically stored in the “Route Center”.

Several Route options are available, just select from the Center the one you prefer, double-click on it; the selected route is now active.

Create Instant Waypoints, with the Quick Route

The Quick Route allows you to create one Waypoint on the chart and go to it.  It is a temporary, not stored, allowing you to quickly go to one particular point.  It is very similar to the “GOTO WAYPOINT” feature of chartplotters.

If you want to change routes and go to a harbour for example, you would double-click on the harbour entrance with the Route tool.  This will cancel the present active route, create a waypoint at the harbour entrance and activate that waypoint.

Save Tracks as Waypoints / Routes

Tracking in MaxSea can't be simpler. Just click a button, or press a key and tracking starts. Once tracks are created, they can be saved or converted to waypoints/routes. The tracking interval is completely adjustable, so you're capturing only the information that you need.
