FAQ0151 : Display Troubles Under Windows Vista...

SYMPTOMS

Chart displaying in MaxSea fails under Windows Vista.  Occasional Problems may occur when displaying charts, the chart is partially or intermittently displayed as it is shown in following picture:

 

RESOLUTION

Driver of Video Card may not be compatible with DirectX component.

At first make sure that video card drivers are upgraded  and Windows Vista compatible.

 

IMPORTANT: Pay attention that sometimes newest computers haven’t the latest drivers installed on it. You first have to verify on Video Card factory web site if drivers vista compatible exist or otherwise you have to download the latest update. Then make sure that drivers are supported on your computer.

Following Video Cards were identified from our technical support:

  1. ATI  Cards
  2.  Intel Cards
