How to change automaticaly the scale on a precise waypoint?

Posted: Tuesday, January 18, 2005 4:46 PM (RST)

The Waypoint Auto Scale function allows the software to automatically change the chart scale. Change of scale occurs when the ship gets into the Waypoint arrival circle.

Assign a new scale to a specific Waypoint under the Waypoint properties window:

  • Double-left click on the Waypoint with the Finger tool selected, this brings up the Waypoint Info window.
  • Choose the scale that you want to assign under Chart Scale pop up menu

I can not get the way point to enter correctly. For example 24degrees 30.3660N enters as 24degrees 30.3655N. How do I get an acurate entry.
